About this event
A week-long summit to propose and coordinate on concrete strategies guiding the role of governments during the upcoming economic transformation due to AI systems.
Summit details
This co-working summit will be lightly structured with substantial downtime, and we intend that attendees will be able to continue their regular professional work for the entirety of the summit.
We will organize group meals, evening workshops and discussions, and weekend activities. We will also incorporate design features from unconferences, encouraging attendees to create their own workshops and events throughout the course of the week.

AI Governance Lead at Convergence Analysis. Previously an early-stage engineer at Alchemy, a software infrastructure startup now valued at $10.2 billion, and a researcher at the Interaction Lab for Google X.
Dr. Justin Bullock
VP of Policy at the Americans for Responsible Innovation and a renowned expert on AI governance. Dr Bullock is an Associate Professor Affiliate at The Evans School of Governance and Public Policy & Governance.
Anna Yelizarova
Anna has been leading the Windfall Trust initiative and oversees research on the economic impacts of developing Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
She also helps with non profit incubation and manages projects within the Futures program at the Future of Life Institute (FLI).

Why is this work necessary?
Artificial General Intelligence systems capable of directly replacing human labor could cause massive shocks to global societies and economies.
To solve these challenges, we need to rethink our assumptions on the roles of governments, corporations, and people in a flourishing economy.
